Australian cattle dogs will not only run circles around you, but also herd you down the sidewalk, across the driveway, and into your car. ACDs, as they're also called, know there's work to be done, and their agility, brainpower, and efficiency make them extremely good at it.
Beagles were developed in England as hunting dogs to chase down small prey such as rabbits. A lot has changed since the origin and perfection of the breed. Today, many people still use Beagle to hunt rabbit… but just as many keep this dog breed as a family companion pet.
Bluetick Coonhounds are intelligent, ambitious, fearless hunting dogs that will work tirelessly to track and tree their targets. Blueticks have the ability and natural endurance to stay on the oldest and most delicate of trails for hours or even days on end, which makes them terrific companions for active hunters and sporting households.
Chihuahuas are saucy and alert, with a mind of their own. They might not be able to talk, but that doesn’t prevent them from letting you know exactly what they want: usually plenty of quality time with their favorite person. Chihuahuas are often devoted to a particular person in the family.
Pomeranians have one of the most amazing, soft coats in the history of dogs. Their double coat, which needs regular grooming, can come in over 18 different colors, according to the American Kennel Club. White, black, brown, red, orange, cream, blue, sable, and black and tan are just a few of the color variations your Pomeranian pup can have.
The Shih Tzu is a small but sturdy dog with a lush, long, double-hair coat. This breed's alert, confident, playful, and courageous demeanor makes it a favorite amongst toy dog enthusiasts. The Shih Tzu is an ancient breed and has a long history as a lap dog to nobles.
The Yorkshire Terrier is one of the most popular dogs, not only because of their very cute appearance, but also because of their unique and charming personalities. While, in general, the Yorkie is a very happy and amusing companion, each dog does have their very own unique personalities.

Beaver Creek Kennel breeds a  variety of puppies.  Yorkies,  Bluetick Coonhounds, Labradoodles, Chihuahuas, Shih Tzu and Beagles to name a few.

We do not have an overly large population of puppies on hand at any given time, rather we selectivity breed our litters. We strive to raise happy, healthy dogs that are emotionally well balanced. Our first concern when breeding our dogs has always been good health. Our desire is to breed dogs that will be a joy to every member of the family.

Beaver Creek Kennel has great pride in the puppies we whelp. Great puppies come from the pairing of great males and great females.

That first critical six to eight weeks of a puppy’s life can also make a big difference in the life of the dog and what the puppy will be like when you take it home. One thing you can say about our pups, they are not locked up in a kennel all day. Our puppies have the opportunity to run through large open fields, play in our woods and spend time in the house. They are around children and other dogs, and they spend quality time living with our family. This also allows us the time to evaluate each pup as an individual. We can see which pups are more dominate, which have the strongest food drives, and evaluate the temperament of each individual. This helps us ensure that we are doing everything possible to place the right dog with the person, for the right use. Yes, it would be easier to keep them in the kennel and let you pick your pup out on your first visit, our carpets wouldn’t need to be cleaned as often, but that’s not the way we do it at Beaver Creek Kennel. Only with a real understanding of what your objectives, ability and long term goals are for you and your dog, and a serious amount of time and attention to our puppies, can we improve of odds that you will go home with just the right dog. Some of the people whom have purchased dogs from Beaver Creek Kennel have become life long friends. We like to stay in touch with the people that we entrust our puppies to.
